1. Introduction
Welcome to ALLYCare, a digital savings, investment, and protection platform owned by BAS Technologies Limited and powered by BAS Financial Services Limited, a company duly licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Nigeria as a Fund and Portfolio Manager.
By accessing or using the ALLYCare mobile application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
2. Eligibility
To create and operate an ALLYCare account, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Possess a valid Bank Verification Number (BVN).
- Have a valid Nigerian bank account for deposits and withdrawals.
- Provide accurate and verifiable personal information.
ALLYCare reserves the right to verify all user details before granting or maintaining access to any service.
3. Services
ALLYCare provides users with access to:
- Savings Accounts: Through products such as Stash, GoalPost, and PadiLock, users can save, earn interest, and set financial goals.
- Investment Opportunities: Funds may be pooled and invested in regulated fixed-income instruments and other SEC-approved vehicles.
- Protection Plans: Including PayCheck, Daily Defense, The Booster, and Total Care, underwritten by licensed insurance and HMO partners.
- Child and Family Plans: Such as Bloom, designed for future planning and education-linked savings.
All financial and insurance services on the platform are delivered under Nigeria’s regulated financial and insurance framework.
4. Account Funding and Withdrawals
- Deposits can be made via debit card, bank transfer, or payment gateway partners.
- Withdrawal requests may take up to 24 business hours to process.
- Early withdrawals on locked plans (e.g., PadiLock) may attract penalties or forfeiture of accrued interest.
- ALLYCare reserves the right to delay withdrawals if additional verification or regulatory review is required.
5. Returns and Interest
- Interest rates vary by product and are subject to prevailing market conditions.
- Stated rates (e.g., 13% for Stash, 15% for GoalPost, up to 20% for PadiLock) are indicative and not guaranteed.
- Interest is calculated daily and credited monthly or at maturity, depending on plan type.
- ALLYCare may revise rates at its discretion and will notify users accordingly.
6. Insurance and Health Benefits
- ALLYCare’s protection plans (Daily Defense, The Booster, and Total Care) are powered by licensed insurance and health maintenance organizations (HMOs).
- Benefits, limits, and hospital networks vary by plan.
- Coverage becomes active only after successful premium remittance and confirmation by the partner insurer or HMO.
- Claims must be filed in accordance with the insurer’s procedure and supported by valid documentation.
7. Income Protection (PayCheck)
- PayCheck provides up to 6 months of income support upon verified loss of employment or income interruption.
- Eligibility and payout depend on completed contributions, plan type, and underwriting approval.
- Fraudulent claims, false declarations, or misuse of this feature may result in forfeiture and possible legal action.
8. Fees and Charges
- Certain services (such as inter-bank withdrawals or insurance processing) may attract small administrative fees.
- ALLYCare will always communicate any applicable fees prior to charging a user.
9. Data Security and Privacy
- ALLYCare uses bank-grade encryption, firewall protection, and multi-factor authentication to safeguard all transactions.
- Data is collected, processed, and stored in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and other applicable laws.
10. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Keep your login details confidential.
- Immediately report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
- Provide accurate and updated information at all times.
- Use the platform only for lawful financial purposes.
11. Limitation of Liability
- ALLYCare, BAS Financial Services, or its partners shall not be liable for:
- Losses arising from inaccurate user information or negligence.
- Downtime or delays caused by third-party providers (banks, payment gateways, HMOs).
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
12. Suspension or Termination
- ALLYCare may suspend or terminate your account if:
- Fraudulent activity or misuse is suspected.
- You breach any term of this Agreement.
- Required by law enforcement or regulators.
Upon termination, all funds (minus applicable charges) will be returned to your linked bank account.
13. Amendments
ALLYCare reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on the app and website, with notice sent to users through email or in-app notification.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any dispute shall be settled amicably or referred to arbitration in Abuja, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act (Cap A18, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004).
